Description:

Overview of cH4099 Alloy

cH4099 is a Ni-Cr-based precipitation hardening deformation alloy designed for high-temperature applications. It is capable of long-term use at temperatures below 900 °C, with a maximum short-term operating temperature reaching 1000 °C.

Composition

The alloy is engineered with the following elements:

  • Chromium, Cobalt, Tungsten, and Molybdenum: For solid solution strengthening.
  • Aluminum and Titanium: To form aging-strengthening phases.
  • Boron, Cerium, and Magnesium: Added to purify and strengthen the grain boundaries.

Properties

cH4099 exhibits:

  • High thermal strength
  • Stable structural integrity
  • Satisfactory cold and hot processing and welding performance

These characteristics make it suitable for manufacturing high-temperature welded structural components, particularly in aircraft engine combustion chambers.

Applications

The primary products include:

  • Hot-rolled bars
  • Plates
  • Wires
  • Forgings

Notable Applications:

  • Alloy Plates: Used in manufacturing aircraft engine parts such as adjustable nozzle housings and afterburner cylinders.
  • Rolled Bars: Employed for manufacturing compressor blades for aircraft engines.
  • Forged Bars: Utilized for structural components in large naval gas engines and cruise missiles.

Large structural components made from this alloy can be used directly after solution treatment, eliminating the need for aging treatment. No harmful phases have been detected after long-term aging at temperatures of 700 °C to 950 °C.
