Material Overview:
Cronifer 1925 hMo exhibits exceptionally high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media and sulfur-containing acidic environments. It is highly effective in resisting chloride ion stress corrosion and demonstrates good corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing media. The material also offers excellent stability and mechanical properties that are slightly superior to those of 904L. Cronifer 1925 hMo can be utilized for the manufacture of pressure vessels operating at temperatures ranging from -196°C to 400°C.
Typical Working Conditions:
- 60% sulfuric acid at temperatures below 80°C
- Annual corrosion rate: < 0.1 mm
